  • This Term I’ve had a wonderful term.This term in my learning I have enjoyed learning more about figurative language in writing  and long division in my math’s for reading i’ve enjoyed reading longer book’s.Some of the things that didn’t go well for me was that we couldn’t play rugby league or some of the sport’s.One of the activities I enjoyed was playing Kelly Sports with my class.The trip that we went to this term was going to Te Tuhi Art Gallery and seeing some art.I could have done more learning.Some of my goals for next term is to work harder in maths and to put more figurative writing in it to make it better and lastly for reading I want to read more harder book’s.So this term I have had a wonderful

Sensory Poem

I see the strong water colliding side to side

I feel the cold ice water it makes me shiver

I hear the children screaming rope

I smell the salty water slightly coming into my mouth

I touched the cold water and my hand almost froze

I felt the water rushing into my raft hard almost causing it to tip

I tasted the chlonne rush into to my mouth

Fun Run Recount

Last week Friday Ruapotaka school went for a fun run.After suiting up into our gear we then waited for the bell to ring so we could leave.When we arrived I felt nervous and the nerves started to kick in but I shook it off and felt much more better.While I was waiting for my group to run the groups were just going and going each time I looked.Until it was my turn for my group to run.Once I stepped onto the line I knew I was ready then the count down 1… 2…  3… Go once I heard go.I ran fast like a cheetah.Huff and Puff I was breathing so hard but I knew I did’t want to give up.When I was running I kept on passing and passing each one of my opponents until I reached St Heliers beach so I ran my hardest to the finish line and that’s when I made it.After sitting around waiting for some Ruapotaka students to finish we then got to eat yummy sausage sizzles.After all of that fun we then had to unfortunately leave.Overall this fun run was fun.
