Fun Run Recount

Last week Friday Ruapotaka school went for a fun run.After suiting up into our gear we then waited for the bell to ring so we could leave.When we arrived I felt nervous and the nerves started to kick in but I shook it off and felt much more better.While I was waiting for my group to run the groups were just going and going each time I looked.Until it was my turn for my group to run.Once I stepped onto the line I knew I was ready then the count down 1… 2…  3… Go once I heard go.I ran fast like a cheetah.Huff and Puff I was breathing so hard but I knew I did’t want to give up.When I was running I kept on passing and passing each one of my opponents until I reached St Heliers beach so I ran my hardest to the finish line and that’s when I made it.After sitting around waiting for some Ruapotaka students to finish we then got to eat yummy sausage sizzles.After all of that fun we then had to unfortunately leave.Overall this fun run was fun.
